Shu, which means pure and innocent in Chinese, is an 8-year-old adopted by Jerry and Maria. She is extremely smart and very curious with a great sense of humor but also arrogant because she sees herself as smarter than most of her schoolmates. (Which she probably is) This alienates them and she is rather lonely. A superb skateboarder,
she is also very health conscious pitting her against her sugar and junk-food-addicted mother. Combined with
her father’s disappearance, these factors make her depressed and angry. The adventure in Sugardream City will help her transform by finding friends and her true self.
